Critical Care RN. 20+ years living with Crohn’s Disease.
Formerly 90 lbs and tube-fed → then overweight and exhausted → now strong, capable, and unapologetically resilient.

At my sickest I was inserting my own feeding tubes every night while in high school and was fed-up with being told what I couldn’t do more often than what I could.

Later, I gained over 60 lbs working 12–16 hour shifts in the Trauma ICU, surviving on caffeine and pure adrenaline. I tried every diet. Every protocol. Every fitness program designed for bodies that don’t flare.

Nothing worked.

So, I stopped trying to force my autoimmune body to respond like everyone else’s.

I put my clinical brain to work. I dug into the research.

And I started treating my workouts the way I titrate drips in the ICU: by making small, strategic adjustments in real-time based on how the body responds.

I lost the weight. I built real strength.
