Hi, I'm Amanda! 👋

I'm Amanda Kunzinger, a Critical Care RN, founder of AK Health & Fitness and creator of the Autoimmune Strength Protocol™

Living with Crohn’s Disease for 20+ years, my body has been through the wringer. I've gone from barely 90lbs, frail, inserting my own feeding tubes for nutrition, and even needing surgery... to overweight, weak, and struggling to lose 50+ lbs.

After many failed attempts, I finally learned how to not only achieve (and surpass!) my fitness goals, but how to continue living a healthy and happy life in a body that I once hated and felt trapped in.

For so many years I felt like a burden to everyone I love because of my illness. I was diagnosed with severe major depressive disorder at just 12 years old. With debilitating anxiety and depression that was often unbearable I spent another 15 years secretly battling my mental health.

I've been able to drastically improve my physical & mental health, my physique, and quality of life with a system that I've since further developed so that I can use this framework to help a lot of other people feel a whole lot better too!
